Yarrow mopes by falingard Yarrow mopes by falingard
Ever sit down to do preliminary sketches, and get exactly what you were aiming for at the first try, but then are unable to replicate it for your final picture?

Something like that happened when I was working on my art trade with *-patches-. But I liked that little face sketch in the corner of the page so much, I computer-inked it and coloured it in addition to the actual full-body picture I did for the trade! Which ended up looking somewhat different?

EDIT: Wait, I know why he mopes! Must be because he's stuck in quicksand.

Yea, I get that thing with preliminary drawings quite a lot.. well, used to, now I just sorta .. draw and see if it turns into anything

BTW, the expression in this pic is great, and the colours are very well done. Really good shading

Wow. It's amazing how he calmly mopes in the quicksand. :D

It looks like Yarrow has totally given up hope that anyone will ever save him from the quicksand. D= The moping begins.

Thank you so much for making me not one but TWO awesome Yarrow pictures. You got down his usual annoyed expression quite well, as well as his angular feature and crooked nose. XD I love it. I really like how you did his hair and his perked ear. The softer purple shadows on this look really nice.
I love eet!

You're welcome again! :)

He wasn't really in quicksand, but I had his arms positioned like he was leaning on something and wasn't inspired to add a table or something, so I jsut faded out his body and added a shadow... and uh... it looked like blurry quicksand, or swamp mud or something!
