My third round of Rogue skies , facing off TO THE DEATH against ... has come to an end! And so has my participation in Rogue Skies, if you couldn't tell.
I urge you to go read Bilious's entry right away, and see this story from another point of view!
This has been a lot of fun, I made new friends, got to test my skills, but ultimately it took too much of my time, and my motivation was waning. I didn't want to just throw in the towel and forfeit, though. I wanted to go out with a bang! I wanted to make the LEAST DISAPPOINTING FORFEIT EVER. It was lucky that I ended up matched against Bilious. Since she and I have been friends for a while, it was easy to cook up something together, and hopefully we've created a round that will be remembered!
The only reason I was able to muster the will to complete this round at all, was because I knew it would be over afterwards, and the collaboration with Bili was a wicked cool experiment (one that couldn't really have happened if I had really been competing)! Congratulations to all RS contestants, your entries were and will continue to be an awesome read. Thank you to =wallabri and =Liamous, you two were great organizers, and in a less awesome tournament I might have given up much earlier
So what happens next? The answer is and always has been Pastry! With RS off my plate, I can get back to putting my full attention on it, which will be necessary soon as the current story arc comes to an end, and a new one starts. Breathing will be good too!
I guess this verbose tirade all comes down to: It was one hell of a ride! Thanks for reading. And keep reading!
Great work! I've been totally absorbed into this comic: i just went through all of it! I hope to see Riel on FP or maybe somewhere else, there were really many interesting characters in this story!
I find it brilliant that you both collaborated to make two different point of views on this round, though I find it sad that you didn't make it to the next round. Still, I'm holding on for a conclusion.
The emotions, expressions and pacing through this round you've done have been amazing. Bravo my dear!
It doesn't have much in common besides the presence of one particular character, but Flaky Pastry sort of takes place a several years later in a different setting
But thank you!
As for Riel, hmmm........ it could happen!
The emotions, expressions and pacing through this round you've done have been amazing. Bravo my dear!
This was an awesome story, though.
Tall, pointed ears, no irises, has a tendency to go nuts... Sounds like someone I know.
