I hardly draw anything outside of work and
Flaky Pastry anymore! ...so it was nice to find out this week that I still could, with a grand total of two character sketches. I decided to colour this one, and there you have it. In this case I dusted off my old random generators.
"This vivacious teenage female wizard specializes in black magic, meta-magic and dream spells. She wears bland outfits decorated in star designs. She is short, with gravity-defying hair and bold eyebrows. She was born with the ability to travel in her sleep to visit the dreams of others. She inherited this gift from her mother. She draws power from a secret, magical place: an enchanted forest glen. Aside from her magical talents, she is also a skilled adventurer. She has a dream she is following, and nothing will make her give up."
Oh! Oh! You mean the randomly-generated description.
The little paragraph in italics, I didn't actually write it. I pushed a button and it appeared! Of course I programmed the random generator in this case, and entered these and other elements, but their combination was the fruit of computer-generated randomness.
But it's entirely possible that I may never consider it so!
There are however tons of very good random generators elsewhere on the web, I recommend looking around if you think you might have a use for them! I find they are good inspiration sometimes, myself.
(Oh, and totally off-topic, but I am pretty much in love with Flaky Pastry right about now - be sure to keep up the insanely awesome job!)
